At the beginning of June, Customs officers from Cameroon’s Directorate General of Customs (DGD) have been taking part in a specialized training programme in Zug and Zurich, Switzerland, focused on non-intrusive cargo inspection, scanning techniques, and image analysis.
The training was organized by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) with assistance from CASRA for the delivery of X-ray image analysis training. By improving image analysis skills, the programme supports more effective detection during non-intrusive inspections and contributes to enhanced safety, security, and customs control processes.
CASRA extends its sincere thanks to SGS for the trusted partnership and for involving CASRA in this important training initiative. We also thank the Cameroonian Customs officers for their enthusiastic participation, strong engagement, and commitment throughout the programme.
